A Simple Disclaimer

Stomach churning,
Mind whirling,
Body frozen,
Thoughts become unwoven,
Is what I said really true?
Did I mean every word?
Is this the point where I turn back?
Or have I already crossed a point of no return?
Have I simply lost track of thought,
And space and time,
And lied?
Or am I in-tune with me?
Maybe I am playing games,
Or maybe I secretly enjoy the hidden,
Something that I can never see,
Something that could never be me.
So, here we go,
A simple disclaimer,
Every decision I make is never thought through,
Every feeling of my own I hate,
Because after I think of what I’ve done,
Everything I thought I knew for sure comes undone,
And I second-guess everything I’ve thought and felt,
And my own brain melts,
Another simple disclaimer happens to be;
Warning! Never take the first word as truth.
Second and third answers may be invalid as well,
This complex unit often dwells,
On what it thinks it may never see,
And can not solve a simply truth,
Only difficult answers can it rightly probe,
A faulty machine sold for cheap.
