You know, you'd be better off if you didn't always think the worst was always going to happen. I mean, seriously, what's the worst that could happen? You're wrong once in a while?
No. You could die.



High wind's coming down,
Rain rolls through the town
Running through the halls,
Screaming out as I fall,
I hit the floor,
Waking up and sinking more.

Hitting walls and kicking stones
Looking up and no one knows,
How it happened or when you knew,
All we knew was not the truth
Here is nowhere and nowheres gone.



Black masked men and holy ghosts
And here's my pit, post to post
The black is here without the light
Like weeping stars, eternal night;

Life was a shadow all along.



Hitting the highway drinking 40s
Girls that love boys make beautiful toys,
Life makes losers
Life makes boozers,
Idiots, assholes and abusers,
Life makes life hard.

Hitting walls and kicking stones,
Looking up and no one knows,
The shadows hung here all along,
Withering alone as we sung along,
All we know is not the truth,
No one's here and it's all long gone,
All alone now that you're gone.

I love it, especially the "No. You could die." It's so direct and abrupt!
